A farewell booklet was presented to the fifth form at the end of the 1982 school year.  The booklet included the signatures of all the teachers, letters from the Headmaster W.M. Wearne, M.A., and from John Evans, Director of Derbyshire Education.  Also included were lists of every student in the fifth form along with their Form Tutors.
